DESIGNERS AND BUILDERS OF THE FINEST TENNIS COURTS

This state-of-the-art, synthetic grass tennis court is fitted with two golf putting holes and a heavy duty basketball tower with a perspex backboard, ring and net installed on the fence line. Ultracourts surpassed their own standards here, providing the client with the ideal outdoor entertainment area.

The fully equipped, resort style property, ideally situated in the Mornington Peninsula, was purchased solely with the installment of a tennis court in mind, and upon construction, the property of their dreams was brought to life.

Prior to the transformation, an old derelict house occupied the property which was removed and excavated to make room for the tennis court that was set into the slope of the land with retaining walls on two sides of the court. ‘Protour’ 15mm synthetic grass, manufactured for Ultracourts, was applied to the concrete base and in-filled with green silica sand to create this majestic look.

Black powder-coated posts and chain wire fencing were installed on three sides of the court. Stepping was also constructed above the retaining wall and a draw curtain was employed on the side of the house to facilitate ease of entry to the court from the house and the swimming pool.

A Lobster ball machine was also supplied to complete the project and maximise use of the space, making for a fully equipped, fun outdoor area. The owners had the surrounds immaculately landscaped and a Canary Island Date Palm specially brought in to give the ambience and feel of being at an island resort.
